.TR Pre-Registration Terms and Conditions

The allocation process for .TR pre-registrations is carried out according to the rules specified in the Registration Policies and Procedures found on the TRABIS website.

The .TR pre-registered domain must have any second-level .tr extension. During the order process, individuals or institutions that do not own a domain name with a priority justification can apply by registering the available second-level .tr domain along with the pre-registration order.

A domain name pre-registered with .TR can be registered if it is not allocated during the 1st and 2nd Category Period. If the domain name is allocated during the 1st or 2nd Category period, the order in the 3rd Category will be canceled.

If different individuals or institutions apply for the same domain name, the allocation will be determined based on the priority hierarchy of the domain extension with a priority justification.

Priority hierarchy:

  1. A.KEP.TR
  2. A.AV.TR
  3. A.DR.TR
  4. A.COM.TR
  5. A.ORG.TR
  6. A.NET.TR
  7. A.GEN.TR
  8. A.WEB.TR
  9. A.NAME.TR
  10. A.INFO.TR
  11. A.TV.TR
  12. A.BBS.TR
  13. A.TEL.TR

For example, if two different individuals or institutions apply for domain.tr, and they own domain.com.tr and domain.net.tr respectively, the domain.tr will be allocated to the owner of domain.com.tr. If the owner of domain.com.tr does not exercise their right to apply, the domain.tr will be allocated to the owner of domain.net.tr.

After the completion of the 3rd Category and the conclusion of a.tr domain applications by TRABIS, the successfully pre-registered domain names can be tracked from the customer panel. The relevant domain name will be added to the customer's account and will be ready for management.

The price for .TR pre-registration is determined according to the current procedures and principles announced by TRABIS and the current economic conditions. Before the results of the pre-registration orders are finalized, in the event of a price update by TRABIS or significant changes in the country's economic conditions, the Customer may be asked to pay the price difference. The Customer can continue the pre-order process by paying the price difference or refuse the additional payment and request that it be added to the deposit for a refund.

.TR pre-registration orders cannot be canceled/refunded before the results of the 3rd Category are announced. Cancellation/refund requests cannot be made for pre-registration orders that result in domain name allocation.

Customers will be informed via email for pre-registration orders that fail. Refunds for unsuccessful orders will be made to the customer panel deposit within 15 days.
